The inn is great! The location is convenient minus the train that goes by frequently. The staff is very helpful, giving recommendations and helping with whatever we need. The rooms are very functional but the bed mattress needs updating along with the sleeper sofa. The sofa is hard to sit on comfortably and the mattress is very worn. Otherwise the room and facility is great! The pool could be a little warmer (likely not the 80 degrees they planned) but their hot tub is great! We are fully enjoying our week here - thanks for creating such a warm welcoming environment! Thank you!

Excellent location. Our unit was nicely furnished and housekeeping service during the week was nice. Lots of storage. Balcony has a bbq so you can cook without leaving the unit. Parking was plentiful. We enjoyed our week at the resort. The pool and jacuzzi are small so if you travel during peak season it might be cramped.

Perfect place for our family. Grandson loves trains and loved watching them pass by. The walkway over the tracks to the is a bit of an eyesore, but convenient. The front desk was very helpful,cheerful, responsive. Heated pool and hot tub.

All 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Surfside. Nice pool and hot tub. 2 of us had to work remotely so it was ideal to have a workspace available outside the room. We enjoyed the complimentary bikes which we used multiple times. Our view was somewhat obstructed but still nice to have ocean across the street. All interactions with the staff went smoothly.

The whole experience was awesome. The staff were outstanding, obviously committed to helping the guest have a wonderful vacation. It was wonderful to have access to a pool and hot tub! The location was right next to the trolley stop. Perhaps the only limitation was that the beach which was across the 4 lanes of traffic was very rocky. The tub was huge and everything else was just right! The extra attention to details such as Wednesday wine night and rock painting on Friday were bonus! The location was also great with easy access to San Clemente and Laguna Beach as well as easy access to San Diego and more. Thank you for a wonderful vacation! Looking forward to our return.

First time back since my mom and brother died so it’s been bittersweet. We’ve been coming here every year since 1991 and of course everything reminds me of them. Your staff has been wonderful and I want to commend Agustina especially, love that she remembers my mom and brother. Makes me feel like I’m with family!

My family has been staying here for years and we always return because we enjoy ourselves so much during our stays. The rooms are like apartments. The staff is friendly and helpful. The resort is super clean. It is small and quaint.

I would not bother sending my friends here due to the fact that owners have preferential treatment on ocean view rooms. I understand the reason why, but I have never had a problem getting one staying at the other timeshares that are your neighbors. I have stayed at the Riviera or other the last 7 years, and never did not have a ocean view. My wife was incredibly disappointed, and vowed never to stay here again. So while you have a nice facility, I would not recommend for that reason.
